Product Overview
Welded steel box beams and columns are widely used in steel structure projects. Compared to H-shaped steel columns which have only one strong axis, box columns provide strong axes in both X and Y directions. With stiffening plates at nodes, they form strong node domains with superior force conditions compared to rolled H-beams. We offer customized fabrication to meet specific project requirements.
Fabrication Method
- Using the cover plate as assembly reference, partition plates and side web assembly lines are marked according to construction drawings
- Upper cover and partition assembly on tire mold with welding completion before next process
- Web assembly after flatness verification, with middle stiffener positioning first
- Complete box structure assembly after U-shaped structure completion with web edge correction
- Final separator side welding using electroslag pressure welding with specialized equipment
Note: Can be processed according to drawings including shot blasting, punching, stiffening, and painting processes.
Production Capabilities
Our facility features three steel structure production lines equipped with flame cutting machines, H-section steel assembly machines, gantry welding machines, shot-blasting machines, and paint spray booths. We have dedicated space for fabrication of heavy-duty and large structural steel components.
